FAG cylindrical roller thrust bearings–Comprised of axial cylindrical roller and cage assemblies and shaft and housing locating washers, FAG cylindrical roller thrust bearings provide rigid bearing mountings which have a high load carrying capacity and are insensitive to shock loads.

FAG cylindrical roller thrust bearings have particularly small axial section height, high load carrying capacity and high rigidity and can support axial forces in one direction. Unlike FAG tapered roller thrust bearings, FAG cylindrical roller thrust bearings can be completed with thrust needle roller and cage assemblies or, in the case of less demanding mountings, track and thrust washers usually used with thrust needle roller and cage assemblies can be combined with thrust cylinder roller and cage assemblies.

FAG cylindrical roller thrust bearings are suitable for heavy axial load accommodation. They are relatively insensitive to shock loads. They are very stiff and require little axial space. They are most commonly available as single direction bearings and can accommodate axial loads acting in single direction. FAG cylindrical roller thrust bearings may be produced in single row and double row designs. Double row patterns are mainly used where thrust ball bearings have insufficient load carrying capacity
