Characteristics of design

The tapered roller bearings present on the inner and outer rings of tapered roller between which are willing tapered roller. If the conical surfaces were extended, they converge towards a single point on the axis of rotation. Their design makes them particularly suited to the combined loads (radial and axial). The axial load capacity bearings is determined to a large extent by the contact angle α; more α, the greater the axial load capacity is important. The calculation factor e indicates an order of magnitude for this angle: the more the value of e, the greater the contact angle is more important and axial loads eligible are high.

Single row cylindrical roller bearings with cage are units comprising solid inner and outer rings together with cylindrical roller and cage assemblies. The cage prevents the cylindrical rollers coming into contact with each other during rolling.

The cylindrical roller bearings are very rigid, can support high radial loads and, due to the cage, are suitable for higher speeds than the full complement designs. Bearings with suffix E have a larger roller set and are thus designed for extremely high load carrying capacity.

The bearings can be taken apart and can therefore be fitted and dismantled more easily. Both bearing rings can therefore have an interference fit.

Single row cylindrical roller bearings with cage are available as non-locating, semi-locating and locating bearings.

Low-friction cylindrical roller bearings
Low-friction cylindrical roller bearings LSL and ZSL are single row, self-retaining and correspond to dimension series 23. The bearings have solid outer rings with two ribs, while the inner rings have one rib. The inner ring can be removed and this gives easier fitting of the bearings. Disc cages or spacers prevent the cylindrical rollers coming into contact with each other during rolling.

High precision cylindrical roller bearings
Cylindrical roller bearings of this type are double row precision bearings for machine tools. They allow radially rigid, high precision bearing arrangements and are mainly used for the radial support of main spindles.

The bearings comprise solid outer rings without ribs, solid inner rings with three ribs and cylindrical roller and cage assemblies with solid brass cages. For optimum setting of the radial internal clearance, the inner ring has a tapered bore with a taper of 1:12. The cylindrical roller bearings can be dismantled and are therefore easier to fit and remove. Both bearing rings can therefore have an interference fit.

Full complement cylindrical roller bearings(ina bearings)
Full complement cylindrical roller bearings have solid inner and outer rings and rib-guided cylindrical rollers. Since these bearings have the largest possible number of rolling elements, they have extremely high radial load carrying capacity, high rigidity and are suitable for particularly compact designs. Due to their kinematic conditions, however, they cannot achieve the high speeds that are possible when using cylindrical roller bearings with cage.

Full complement cylindrical roller bearings are available as non-locating, semi-locating and locating bearings and in single and double row designs.

Cylindrical roller bearings with snap ring grooves
Cylindrical roller bearings with snap ring grooves are full complement, self-retaining units comprising solid inner and outer rings, rib-guided cylindrical rollers and sealing rings.

The outer rings have grooves for retaining rings. The inner rings are axially split, 1 mm wider than the outer rings and are held together by a steel strip that is rolled into place.

Locating bearings

Cylindrical roller bearings with snap ring grooves are locating bearings. These bearings are highly rigid and can support axial forces in both directions as well as high radial forces.

Due to the full complement design of these bearings, they have the largest possible number of rolling elements and thus extremely high basic dynamic and static load ratings. Due to their kinematic conditions, however, they cannot achieve the high speeds that are possible when using cylindrical roller bearings with cage.

Bearings for cable sheaves

Due to the grooves in the outer ring, the bearing rings can be axially located with ease. The bearings are therefore very suitable in bearing arrangements for cable sheaves.

Schaeffler Group Wins EU12.1 Billion Bid for Continental

Schaeffler Group (fag bearings)has won control of Continental AG with a sweetened offer that values the German tiremaker to 12.1 billion euros ($ 17.9 billion) and creates the largest car parts manufacturer.

After weeks of tough negotiations, German tyre manufacturer Continental finally said “yes” on Thursday to advance Schaeffler compatriot create a new giant auto parts.

Schaeffler, the second largest manufacturer of ball bearings, pay 75 euros per share, 7 percent higher than its initial offer, and buy a game that will not exceed 49.99 percent for four years. Continental CEO Manfred Wennemer, who opposed the offer, left, Hanover-the company said today.

Schaeffler supply, which was raised from 70.12 euros, is 39 percent higher than Continental around July 11, the last trading day before the Financial Times and Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper reported that an offer was likely.

The new offer values Continental, which is still digesting a major acquisition, he did last year, more than 12 billion euros, nearly 40 percent more than it was before Schaeffler unsolicited made its initial offer in July.

Schaeffler Detlef Sieverdingbeck spokesman said the company would “ gladly have continued to work with Wennemer.”

Continental shares are trading at 11 times estimated earnings, in line with the average of 16 European car-parts, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. The stock is more expensive than that of Clermont Ferrand, France-based Michelin & Cie, Europe’s largest tiremaker, which has a price-earnings of 8.4.

TQIT (Tapered Bore Four ranks Assembly)

Type TQIT bearings have a conical bore which is offset and continues in the interior races. This allows for a fit on the rolls of safeguarding high-speed factories, where losing an inner ring worthy of a right bore the rotation because of excessive wear neck.

The most basic and widely used conical support, the only type of line is made up of the cone assembly and the cup. It is generally equipped like a pair opponent. During mounting hardware, single row bearings can be adjusted for Demining (endplay) or pre-condition to optimize performance. 

A row tapered roller have positive roll that ensures alignment true rolling motion and creates a “force of seats” which pushes the roll against the large cone coast. This force seats prevents bias rolls off the summit, which would favourably located and aligned against the large cone coast.

TS (Pressed Steel)

TS (Pin Type)
The pin type design increases the load-carrying capacity of TS bearings by removing cage bridges (leaving more room for rollers) and featuring longer rollers.

The pin type cage consists of two rings, one at each end of the rollers. Cage pins pass through the holes in the center of each roller and are threaded into one cage ring and welded into the other.

Type NNU

The SKF roller bearings cylindrical joined two rows are available in standard version under four different types: three types of bearings and open with a type joints. All these bearings are made of and inseparable elements with an outer ring and ring groove with three holes to facilitate lubricating grease.

Type NNCL
Roller-type NNCL have an inner ring with three shoulders and a fixed outer ring without shoulder. A segment of judgement, inserted in the outer ring between the rows of rollers, maintains the various components of working capital assembled. An axial displacement of the tree in relation to the bearing is possible in both directions. These bearings can be used as landing free.

Type NNCF
Roller-type NNCF are equipped with three shoulders fixed on the inner ring and a shoulder fixed on the outer ring which help guide the shaft axially in a sense. A segment of arrest is inserted in the outer ring, the side opposite to the shoulder fixed, to avoid rolling to disassemble.

Type NNC
Roller-type NNC are equipped with an inner ring identical to that of NNCL and bearing NNCF. Their outer ring into two parts assembly is maintained by a restraint that should not be loaded axially. Its two parts are identical and it is equipped with a shoulder fixed which helps guide the shaft axially in both directions.

Type NNF
The bearings NNF series NNF 50 and 3194 (00) are still bearing joints on both sides and lined with grease. Their inner ring into two parts has three fixed shoulders and is maintained assembled by a segment of judgement. The outer ring has a central shoulder fixed. These bearings can be used to guide the shaft axially in both directions. The relatively large distance between two rows of roller bearings also allows couples to bear spill.

The outer ring of a rolling NNF, narrower than the inner ring of a millimeter, has two slots for segments of judgement on its outer surface. The spacers between the faces of the inner ring and neighbouring elements are superfluous and in blocks by example

Special Type NNB
These bearings have three fixed shoulders on the inner ring and an outer ring without broad-shouldered This special bearings are designed for mounting levels of requiring free movement axial important in the rotation.
